Hilarious. Antsy to see the remaining three segments.
I knew there was something about Stewart Lee I liked.
Interestingly - I hope you noticed Richard saying on Penn's radio show that he was working on a follow-up to The Root of All Evil which looked at the various woo-woo types and other such big tent irrationals.
For the record--I'm a Christian. I've been on the vestry of my church. I don't think Christian or Muslim or Judaism are the 'only way' but ways of trying to understand that we don't know everything and there are mysteries in the world and that maybe we don't know everything.
Jerry Springer, The Opera, is hilarious. I loved it. I listen to in on my iPod all the time. It is brilliant. People need to have a sense of humor, and remember, the great truth religion teaches us all is humility.
I hadn't even heard of the Jerry Springer play...I really do need to see that now.
Looking forward to the next installments. Thanks!
I'll post the next three over the next three days by GMT-7 you can also find them all on youtube if you just can't wait.
Great post, Norm! Thank you!

Really? I always thought that when you claim to not know something you simply submit it as not knowing it instead of claiming to know God's will and speak in its name.
For the record I'm muslim, but i completely agree with the absurdty that every religious organization is competing to see who gets more offended with any given thing.I don't get offended by what people of other faiths say about mine,I should mind my own business just like they should theirs. I do in fact get offended with the media coverage these radicals get, like the first visual you see of any muslim reaction is in Pakistan and Afghanistan with people losing their minds over nonsense,as if that should be the thing representing me. Great post as always.
Fucking cool.

Yeah, the MSM has a way of dividing people by presenting the view of the extremists. And yet, the extremists seem to have so much power over the majority. The extremist minorities tend to be those who are compelled to speak their mind while the more moderate folks don't have the fervour inside of them which compels them to react.
That Rev. Stevens sure was a reasonable guy. Kudos to Mr. Lee for spending time with him. What's a "div"?
"Fucking cool."
-Seconded
link the rest of the segments please! Good stuff
"What's a "div"?"
According to the http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=div It means idiot, but these divs can't agree on the bleedin' origin.
div sound idiot spaz divvy divv divy fool retard 1. div
Actually originates from prison slang in the UK. A job often given to the lowest inmates was to put cardboard dividers into boxes. Someone given this job was a 'divider' or a 'div'. Now used as an insult to those who display stupidity.
Oh you fucking div, you broke my ribs!

A slang term for a stupid person
Shut up, you div!

Div is a scouse word for idiot. It is short for divvy which in turn is a corruption of Deva. The Deva Hospital was a well known mental hospital (since renamed the West Cheshire Hospital) on the outskirts of Chester. Chester was founded by the Romans who named it Deva. Go on - you're impressed, aren't you!
You must be a right div to waste yer time writing out definitions that nobody gives a toss about.

Derived from "individual needs child", a cruel schoolyard insult. Not at all politically correct.
Someone who's "not quite normal", an idiot, spaz, etc.
You're such a div, you can't find your arse with either hand.
Thanks Norm, What a pity you'll be going to hell.
Now let me get this straight. Stewieboy sets out to be controversial, and is bothered that he becomes the centre of controversy.
Oooookaaay. (tiptoes slowly and silently backwards, while smiling disarmingly....)
