Yup. Bush has simplistic, very strongly felt nationalism, religion, way-of-life-ism and that makes him a passionately incompetent leader in any pluralistic scene.
Wait, so... Gloria Steinem is demonstrating that she's in the first group too, isn't she? :-)

Gloria Steinem was a shrewish, sexist advocate of "womens rights" and now she's sounding her scree for the anti-Bush crowd. I bet we all wish it was so easy to move laterally in employment.
Actually, she's commenting on those folks. It's called irony. That doesn't make her one of them.

the world is actually divided into 3 kinds of people: those who understand basic mathematics, and those who don't. :) i collect these statements. the one used here by ms. steinem has been one of my favorites for years.
