The moral of the story:

More people have died trying to punish those responsible for the death of the innocent in 9/11... and you should now ask... Is the war still worth it? You can't stop terrorism by killing people, you stop terrorism by peace!

US Military deaths. If you factored in civilian deaths in Iraq you would of long surpassed that number.

I always wondered why Americans get a hang up on Americans dying but if anyone else dies its generally ignored until it reaches a large number.

Also why are we comparing figures in this way? Why not compare it against Heart Disease? More Americans died from that. No War on Heart Disease. I guess its harder to piss away money to your friends in business that route compared to the military.
