Finally something from the MSM that makes me proud to be an American. What a relief. KO is on a roll. The lone voice in a sea of bullshit and pablum.
It has been so embarrassing and demoralizing to be represented by FOX, Rush Limbaugh, and others like them, or to tune into the evening news only to find out that the headline has to do with some tabloid murder mystery in Aruba or what some weirdo accused of murder had to eat on the airplane.
Tomorrow is a new day so I wouldn't get excited too soon.
On that not why is it I haven't heard more about the National Popular Vote Bills? I would understand if it was just the MSM not reporting on it but I don't see many bloggers discussing it either.

Simply beautiful. Anderson speaks so clearly, so forcefully, and at the same time, so civilly and calmly. It is exactly what we need to see from many, many more leaders, should they be capable.
but isn't he a mormon?
It’s nice to see two inspired gentleman speaking with passion and wisdom. Quite a difference from the interview Mayor Anderson had to endure with those two ass-clowns at Fox.
For those of you who are always so upset that the Democrats aren’t out there saying what they will do: remember that Bush ran on a policy of “I’m gonna bring integrity back to the White House” even though the Clinton administration led us to record surpluses and international respect. What I’m trying to say is: you listen to people like Anderson and Lamont speak with so much passion and dignity and then you listen to people like George Allen and Rumsfeld… hopefully people will ask themselves in November which parties candidates offer real hope, a real, deeply felt understanding of these very important issues.
This is a stark comparrison to Anderson's appearance on Fox, where he was repeatedly shouted at, cut off, and challenged on points he never made. It's interesting to see what you get when you actually let a man speak and not try to make him contridict himself when he clearly did not.
Yeah, Jo Ann, I knew it was you! It's a small world! Anyway, things are changing in your country, this Rocky Anderson is incredibly bold and courageous, Keith Olbermann as well! I hope people won't feel guilty to voice their opposition anymore. As already stated by Anderson himself, you can love your country and voice your opposition at the same time if you feel the country you love is going the wrong direction. From "Grey cat"
Yes indeed, this is so much different from the fox footage. I hope he does a little studying on being prepared when challenged like this again, because he seems to have a good hand for what he does and good points to make as well.
And what an honest and slightly surprised 'thank you' when Rocky thanks KO for his editorial.
Rocky Anderson is a man of integrity and principle. He was raised in the Mormon religion but he has since fallen away from the LDS Church. He is very environmental aware (drives a propane-fueled Honda) and xeriscaped his yard in spite of neighborhood covenants and regulations. He has promoted equality: Upheld domestic partner benefits for city employees and even rode a horse in the gay rodeo. Rocky fought myopic/illogical alcohol laws and presides over a very successful Jazz festival.
Even though Rocky is not running for Mayor again, he has just started his legacy. Whereas, President Bush’s legacy is probably being cemented as I type.
Hi Chat Gris! ;)
I'm glad that you found onegoodmove. :)
I guess that it is, in fact, a small world!
