Nailed
That's right Stephen. I just nailed ya. The computer is an HP and the screen display is Apple's Safari Browser and everybody knows it only runs on Macs. You've been nailed, got it? Nailed. Hey Colbert, "live with it."

Despite his implied preference, it appears his 'people' have higher standards. lol.
Good catch!
He always uses the laptop as a placebo, I thought everyone took it for granted....
(Even in that wikiality episode, he was just acting, as he is supposed to.)
:)
Maybe he's running a cracked version of the Intel build on his HP! You can never really know these days.
C'mon Steven has magical powers. You're just trying to live in the well established liberally biased reality.
"and everybody knows it only runs on Macs" is that a fact? Real men don't need facts, we've got thuthiness and a gut! hah !
damn!
ohhhh
nice catch, norm
"and everybody knows it only runs on Macs"
I read recently that some guys on the internet are working on a Safari version for Windows...maybe Colbert“s on the forefront of browser innovation ;)
Oh, my favorite subject at onegoodmove. Apple PCs. Being a former apple user, and taking some time to get over the change, I feel OK now. It's also great to be able to use software & hardware that is not priced according to how expensive the license fee or developer fee is. Since I can only afford used PC laptops now I no longer feel bad about not being able to buy the equipment from a guy that is just so narley marketing smart.
What? They don't charge outrageous license fees anymore to make hardware for apples? Oh, sorry then. Scratch this post.

Using Safari and sticking a HP logo on it is like drinking a Chateau Petrus with a Thunderbird label glued to the bottle. ps: Hey, Tommi, it's ok, we like you!
In fairness, Colbert did quip during the bit that they needed to plug in the laptop.
Didn't you hear - they now make PCs that can run the Mac OS as well. Oh wait, something's not right there ... hmmm
I use a Safari skin in Firefox on my HP. Not implausible that they do the same.
i run OS X on an HP dc5000 desktop (PC) here at work, I know you could run it on an HP laptop, as long as the processor supports sse3 and upi can get video drivers....
@Jamie
ou dont need sse3 to run OS X on a regular PC. All you need is SSE2 with a patch by MAXXUSS or Jas.
Sorry for nitpicking, but I believe that in this case, the correct term is not "nailed", but "p0wned".
I heard (may of been on wikipedia) but the number of Safari users on HP had tripled in the last six months.
