Seeing a well-organized, well-attended peace rally in SLC of all places gives me hope. I've been to most of the big ones in San Francisco, but this one may be even more powerful. Thanks for posting the pictures.
I wasn't there and I don't see anybody I wouldn't want to know.
Way to go SLC, we in Oklahoma could learn a thing or two. When George Bush spoke at OSU last spring I think there was a total of thirty protesters…!
nice. who's that song from you're using?
Could it be that americans (or "estadounidenses" in spanish or "etatsuniens" in french, people here in Chile or Argentina don't understand why you call yourself "americans", they are too) are finally getting a conscience?
Oh, and by the way, what's the great song? It would be good to put the credits.
Thanks
Mark, from Valparaiso in Chile
Thank you:D
btw, what's the background music called?
It's really nice:D
I'd like to know too. And thanks Norm for a very cool site.
I saw Tim, that's someone I know! Hi Tim! And good job on the presentation, Norm, the video looks good.
The song is Jacob's Ladder by Chumbawamba written as part of the 'Not In Our Name' project.
The song is a Chumbawumba song called Jacob's ladder:

a great piece. good to see utah gaining some respect back.
"Could it be that americans ... are finally getting a conscience?"
That would be the same Argentina where all the Nazi war criminals fled to live out their golden age in retirement, the place of the 'Dirty War', and a place whose president is attempting to work with communist and anti-American interests just to gain popularity for his own regime; and the same Chile where Pinochet ruled with an iron fist and the DINA carried out operation Condor, a junta operation complete with concentration camps?
Ah yes, Latin America: a shining example of corruption-free government.
Please lecture us some more on conscience.
Disarm Israel, and Israel will be destroyed. Disarm Hezbollah, and the war will end...
Didn't see me... ;) But, good pics nonetheless. Check out the U's school paper today for a rather infuriating article ("Rocky Anderson is Disgraceful"). I don't even know where to start.
