I wonder if he is actually practising. My guess is they run him with a delay so in case he fups his lines.
Can someone help me out here - why are we talking about immagration? Why do we have this silly address? Why are troops moving to the borders? Isn't this wag the dog?
i think that troops are moving to the boarders because the economy is collapsing and we are about to go to war with china and russia and who knows who else and they want the boarders closed. they are using imigration as a way to justify it!
They're making now a huge fuzz out of CNN's blooper with that "practice" excerpt. Fine with me. Better that than Bush succeeding with changing the subject before the elections.
Can anyone tell me why the immigrant issue is so big all the sudden? I think it's a divide and conquer technique. Create a furor over homo-sexuals, make people choose sides. Have people vote on that basis only. They are brilliant at exploiting predujudices and getting people to ignore the objective. Can we please focus on what a miserable failure this president is, instead of issues that were in the making for YEARS. Things we could have talked about at ANY TIME for the last decade?
Good point Reality Bites. I have tended to get caught up in this. But that's because I worked for a chicano majority-owned corporation and experienced discrimination first hand. I do not, however, want this experience to turn me into a brain dead redneck re this issue.
It is a red herring. You are right.
