The satirical story you linked to, " BUSH ABANDONS ILLEGAL SPYING PROGRAMS: SAME INTELLIGENCE AVAILABLE ON MYSPACE.COM," may not be completely fictional. I had heard somewhere (back on a MySpace "News and Politics" forum, actually, that a CIA-linked group had put a lot of funding into Facebook. I don't have the link right now. And, MySpace is owned by Murdoch now, I think, and Murdoch would never provide information to the government, I'm sure! (If anybody can confirm any of this, please do...)

The only thing that is going to end the dictatorship is for Democrats to grow some balls. Fat chance.

Amazing, or perhaps not so amazing based on Bush's previous actions. The man honestly believes that he can do whatever he wants. The sad thing, is he is right. Most americans don't know their rights or the laws of this country, the media is the governments slut at this point and the other 2 branches of government are run by republicans who are far more interested in maintaining the status quo than challenging the president.

Well, it got to Kieth Olbermann's Countdown. I wonder how many other MSM television news sources it got to?

See, if Olberman stuck to reporting like this and stayed away from the Bill O'Reilly bashing, he might have a hit on his hands.
