Oh Ben
Here is Ben's latest post at the Washington Post, check it out I have a feeling it will be gone in 24 hours, oh yes, it is where he explains why he called Corretta King a communist the day after her funeral.
Two Quick Notes Two clarifications for the many folks who have risen up in force to attack the existence of this blog (I appreciate the attention, by the way).I wonder how much he appreciates the attention now? I can't even imagine. I almost feel sorry for him. I know he really has it coming, but his friends if he still has some, should keep on eye on him. He's going to need emotional support to get through this one.
Joe Conason at Salon weighs in A portrait of the blogger as a young plagiarist
As a college student Ben Domenech lifted arts criticism; as a GOP henchman, he was accused of fabricating a Tim Russert quote. What was the Washington Post thinking?

Poor kid.. I wonder what it feels like to be torn asunder by your own passion. Drawn and quartered by blogs. What he did is not ethical, and I do not agree with his politics at all, but I still feel a little sorry for him.
We should do to him what primary education teachers do to their students who are caught cheating.
He should be forced to spend lunch in homeroom with his teacher.
He should have to take home a note from the teacher describing what happened.
He should spend a detention sitting in his office with no phones of any kind, no Internet connection or computer, no iPod, and nothing but children's books.
Don't. He certainly didn't exhibit any signs of guilt or hesitation about what he was doing, but from the looks of it again and again took other people's work, slapped on a by-line and pocketed the pay cheque. He doesn't deserve to be 'torn asunder', he just deserves to be fired and to never get another job in the news media ever again.
Yeah, I wouldn't cry for the moron - when (not if) he gets fired, I'm sure he'll benefit from martyr status and get offers from any one of a dozen right-wing organizations. But he should not and should never have been associated with the (formerly) good name of the Post.
Go on its really good http://spanking-stories.info
