The BEAST 2005

The BEAST 50 Most Loathsome People in America, 2005

1. Pat Robertson
robertson2.gif
Charges:  If Pat Robertson’s local Starbucks caught fire, he would claim that God was punishing them for giving him a caramel latte when he ordered vanilla. Robertson has always been a demonic charlatan with the credibility of Miss Cleo and a lust for Armageddon in his vile, rat-toad heart, but this was really his year to shine. In 2005, Robertson called on God to vacate seats in the Supreme Court (the almighty obliged, killing Rehnquist), advocated assassinating Hugo Chavez, said ‘judicial activists’ were a more serious threat to America than terrorists, called criticism of the war treason, said John Roberts should be thankful for Hurricane Katrina, which he implied was “connected” to Roe v. Wade, attributed Ariel Sharon’s stroke to divine retribution for the Gaza pullout, said “the Antichrist is probably a Jew alive in Israel today,” and implied that God would wipe the residents of Dover, PA off the map for rejecting Creationism. Not to mention raising huge sums of cash from his zombie army, much of which is diverted from his charity operations to his business interests, including African diamond mines. Has long advocated that America simply ignore the Supreme Court. Robertson’s God is an insecure, misogynistic, homicidal fanatic—just like Pat.

Exhibit A: Vehemently opposed to voluntary abortion in America, but okay with forced abortion in China, where his cable investments depend on the good graces of the government.

Sentence: Repeatedly struck by lightning.

Comments

Is Pat Robertson uncircumcised?

Dude, his devilish wang is freaking me out. Did he actually pose for that picture?

I just found out it's spelled 'whang.'

Sharing the knowledge.

aiiiiii! i could definately gone my whole life without seeing pat robertson's nads.

again.

yes, yes, but the list itself is wonderful. the sentences-- in particular-- were priceless.

Come on folks, you all know good and well that Robertson has no balls or penis to circumcise. This fraud was drawn by his publicists most likely.

C.

I agree with dryle although some of the sentences might have been a lil lenient ; ) #4 though, ouch. Pat Robertson wouldn't have been in my top 10. And I would have placed Rumsfeld, Rice, Gonzales and OBL in there too. There are a few other deserving characters I can think of as well but not my list. I did like seeing a few DEMs on the list although they may be relatively harmless.

Ouch, the carpet doesn't seem to match the drapes either, maybe he dyes it. I don't think it is a real picture though, not enough body wrinkles, somebody definitely touched it up, but why ; )

The list was a great revisit for the idiocies that have been uttered this year.

"As people do better, they start voting like Republicans - unless they have too much education and vote Democratic, which proves there can be too much of a good thing." -- Karl Rove

Kudos to you.

"So many minority youths had volunteered…that there was literally no room for patriotic folks like myself." -- Tom Delay, explaining his failure to enlist during Vietnam.

How shockingly pathetic.

Only, the list sucks, because it brings the terrible truth to light: these people are STILL ALIVE (though I do want #4 to live, since they're trying to fix it ;)).

UBL was absent for a reason: this was a list of the worst people in America. The only way he could make the list is if we actually catch him and bring him here for termination. That was a goal of ours at one time, if I recall... but if at first you don't succeed, try lying about it. Then fuck up everything else you do. That'll teach 'em.

13 inspires the following:

"He's Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding God"

Does anyone know the source for that quote from Delay about the minority folks getting in the way of good patriotic folks like him and Dan Quayle serving in Vietnam? I looked on the internet and found it on a bunch of websites, but they all seemed to have gotten it from each other. I didn't see it sourced anywhere. Please let me know.

PS - my favorite quote from that list, by far: "Bush's Taint: Sweet Like Honey"

Umm, is it just a coincidence, or is the head of Pat's pitchfork meant to be the rebel alliance logo from Star Wars?

3: hot dogs and bourbon? more like pretzels and a mountain bike.

See if you can identify who made what statements- Falwell-Robertson-Bin Laden Quiz

Ok some of them were pretty funny (the Terry Schiavo one was hilarious), but I really am tired of the way liberal nutsacks think it's so funny to mock the South. E.g. the line that Ann Coulter should 'stay in Mississippi'. This joke is about as intelligent as the Cletus character on the Simpsons.

And, by the way, Harvard has created more world-fucking assholes than Mississippi. Yet it is still held in very high regard. So stop the stereotyping.

Joe®!

You dissapeared. You were all gunning so well on gay-marriages ("the most official important issue on the planet!"), and now you're into "Liberals"™ to "stop the stereotyping." (how forceful, so important to be foreful, sigh....)

There cant be too many other topics you like to seriously-damn others about!

The most impressive form of intellectual debate (which would see you shine like a star in Australia - Kerry O'Brian would have NO hands on you, you high school debate champion of the world!) is the use of names.

Like NUTSACKS.

Like your impressive original statements unseen worldwide about bestiality and gay marriage, or that homosexuality/gay-marriage is deviancy, is NUTSACKS the same?

I have decided, my dear Joe® that I will keep a list of not just your original quotes that you keep saying all the time, but those you have been trained under at your institute for Intellectual Persuasion. A master at work, avatar no doubt.

Remember, the checkmate thing. You seem to do it to yourself.

I am thinking of doing a Spinal Tap type mockumentary, or like We Can Be Hereos, and would like to interview a 'person' and give their background etc. Would you like to be that person?

No wait, I know you want to, but do your best not to respond in invectives.....no sorry, you have to, its a dam-bursting thing, OK, go ahead, do like you would do anyway. Then I will add it to my list on top of NUTSACKS.

I'm only doing it coz you sincerely want everyone to evolve autonomously and learn from each other. Eric

Lol! This paper is published in my city (Buffalo, NY) as a local, free alternative. Subscribe, it's a hoot!

homepage.mac.com/duffyb/nobush

ahhh that was sweet... I live in buffalo and have been reading that paper for years now.. it's great isn't it?

Eric, you're a hoot. You make me laugh. Thanks.

I don't really follow this board, but Eric's post was pretty lame... It was like a bad Robin Williams impersonation. And he obviously spent a while typing it up. Sorry Jo Ann.

You don't have to be sorry. I enjoyed it. Matters not to me that you didn't, anon.

Peace

To be compared to Robin Williams, wow. More British Comedy influenced really, but thats interesting...

As for being lame, unfortunately, it just mirrors the non-inventiveness and parroting of the Joe's® of this world. Not only is Joe® unoriginal, but it appears that his way is to denigrate, namecall and come up with some sort of statement like "its not natural to be a homosexual, period" as an ARGUEMENT....sigh

So, when banality appears, it is my duty to show how lame it is. I dont consider my post lame, but I can understand how it is perceived that way.

And I will keep doing it until Joe® or yourself comes up with something that contributes to conversation, not taking it away.

And humour always trumps puffy chest thumping-right wing one-liners. Sorry dude, the way of the world. Thats why artists & satirists are the first to go down under a dictatorship.

Isn’t it kind-of ironic that the Fundamental Extreme Christian's and the Fundamental Extreme Islamist's sort of what the same thing (theocratic world domination) and are willing to use any means necessary to achieve their goal? Even if that totally contradicts there religious principles.

I failed pretty miserably on the Falwell-Robertson-Bin Laden Quiz : /

Evigilo wrote: Isn’t it kind-of ironic that the Fundamental Extreme Christian's and the Fundamental Extreme Islamist's...

When fundamentalist christians perceive that their faith is under attack or threatened, they may be allowed to abandon their ordinary moral principles, just like islamic extremists. It could even be an obligation to do so and not just license. American fundamentalists continue to feel threatened by the world even after they have gained some control here in the US. Not sure how we can help both groups stop feeling threatened. Capturing UBL would probably be the worst thing for the current administration's and US fundamentalists' agendas. The administration might have to abandon or scale back oil wars and extreme terrorist policing if he were caught. If UBL and al quaeda attack the US again, I wonder if there are any plans for the current administration to get special dispensation for a third Bush term despite it being against the constitution - I know that has to be impossible but I will not be surprised.

MikeC, it's not impossible. Think of FDR in the 40's.
