The guy is hilarious. Though I disagree with his assessment that Bush has a problem with lying.

Damn good mimic. No. Bush has no problems whatever with lying. If his mouth is open....

Annoying Republicans is not just patriotic, it's fun. www.cafepress.com/bush_doggers

I wish Norm would put a little statement above this comment box, or beneath the buttons, warning people to only hit the post button one time. I have also noticed that I sometimes receive a posting error message, but then when I return to the 1gm site, I see that my message did, in fact, post. There are a lot of great video clips here, and I am guessing that that is why the posting of comments can be a bit slow.
Caliendo és extremadamente gracioso.

Thanks so much!
Haven't laughed so hard in days.
Even the Clinton was hilarious.

ive been wondering who the guy that does the best torso in football madden impersonation is for a while now. finally, closure.
Posted by: jeff | January 26, 2006 12:07 PM
That was a nice sandwhich. What I mean is that Frank Caliendo's entire routine was an excuse to make fun of Bush, without actually getting in trouble. Notice how he starts out with the John Madden, the most widely recognized voice of sports fans on both sides of the isle. Then he throws in Al Pacino, because hey, gotta throw in Hollywood to mask the trail of where he's going....to Bush, totally makes fun of him, but intelligently says that Bush could never lie, like Clinton (to premptively calm the Red stated lunatics).
I think it was a creative, funny routine, and I like how this guy is getting his message out there in such a career safe manner. Hopefully someday he'll really let it rip on Bush, Cheney, et al....

I agree with Fletch this guy is very calculated. It's obvious that he's very intelligent. I'll definitely watch for him in the future.

This man needs to play Bush on SNL. MadTV is garbage, always has been, always will be. It's a show with decent talent but absolutely no funny writing at all. I hope someday he jumps over to NBC.

And Frank Caliendo is from Wisconsin, woot!
SNL sucks just as bad ad MadTV...or worse, nowadays.
Posted by: Wamzlee | January 26, 2006 5:42 PM
I remember first noticing Frank when he was doing his superb Roger Ebert impersonation on MadTV. This guy is talented.
Posted by: anon | January 26, 2006 7:00 PM
Man, that is the best impersonation of Bush I've ever seen. Sooo funny ! :)
Posted by: anon | January 27, 2006 12:38 AM
This guy is so good, I wish I could do a mimic of bush. Oh the things I would say.

Such amazing comments from the liberals. How can you all enjoy life, being so bitter? I feel sorry for you.
That being said, he nailed Bush -- especially the face he gets when the words come out right. Check out the Barney Christmas video on the White House web site; he gets through "sibling rivalry."

Frank does better with his impersonations than he does on his football picks; so he shouldn't quit his evening job at MAD T.V.
Who the !#$% said that he should jump to SNL, because they have better writers than MAD T.V.?! That guy should get his rectum spread wide enough to remove his head from his arse.
Chris
P.S. John Madden is awesome! And if he makes Frank Caliendo look bright, then so be it in Frank Caliendo's small mind. Again, I must refer to his cheesy (WI) arse football picks on NFL on Fox. What was his record for the year any way?

I wish he could did some Leno or Letterman while on letterman. he does those very well, also.
Posted by: nate dubya | January 29, 2006 10:57 AM
Actually, Frank has a great record for football picks.

Damn, that's a funny Bush impersonation. I was laughing so hard I cried when I watched this on the actual show and it hasn't lost it's entertainment value. I love the bit about Clinton.

If you want to see more of him, go to his website. He has a bucnh of clips and he does a ton a of so well. His Robin Williams and JIm Rome are 'epic'. Caliendo is the funnies guy around right now IMO. He nails every impression he does and, he will often change his voices so quickly you can't even tell it isn't two people talking. Just great.

This guy easily ranks up there with some of the best, like Dana Carvey and Rich Little.

hilarious. Unlike libs, we conservatives can have a sense of humor and can take a joke about our guy. Maybe it's easier to laugh when you keep winning.
