shmeh...Colbert musta bombed.
They barely even spoke about his show, didn't bring up any of the content of his show or the politics...
The ear-damage may not be a joke. Colbert's voice has so little rise and fall to it, that he almost speaks in a monotone. He doesn't, but when the inflections change, they aren't as pronounced as they might be. Or perhaps it's a stage thing, because his volume is set a click too high and he doesn't deviate.
Small thing, but gives him an abrasive quality, or rather adds to the abrasive style of his jokes. Still hope he's around a while longer on comedy central. There's so much to lampoon, Jon Stewart can't handle it all.
Dear Stephen Colbert,
Please stop dying your hair.
Thanks.
Much love, Pica
Oh please, C'mon guys, if he wasn't around you'd miss him and his lampooning of Blitzer, O'Reilly, Hannity, and Cooper all rolled into a half-hour. When he goes on a late night talk show he can choose what he wants to talk about, so let him have his say. Even if its nothing so hardcore as bashing Bush, you can make your shtick only so much of that.
what was that, like 30 seconds? He must have been the "other" guest.
It was awesome. Stephen was awesome as usual. He did better than John on Letterman if you ask me.
