God that show is awful. Unwatchable.

SNL has been unwatchable for years.

Funny until that awful excuse for a GW impersonator crashes the skit. = No punchline.

I don't get it, that guy who does bush is so not it. Have to feel sorry for the camera crew that has to watch, week after week this sorry ass bunch of has beens trying to be funny. Is there a Writer's strike on?

It didn't suck.

Darryl Hammond's usually pretty solid and has been for ages. Sadly NBC neutered the show long ago to the point where it's now the IBM of comedy.

they've always had trouble ending a skit. They still had their moments.

You know what, that GWB impersonation is growing on me.

Amazing that the Daily Show can do a couple of hours of good political humor in a week, while Saturday Night Live is incapable of scraping together two or three minutes.

SNL has always had a problem with taking an idea that has short legs and running it for several tedious minutes. However, the rap music video they did, "Lazy Sunday," was a scream. Perhpas the great Oz at Onegoodmove can post that clip?

SNL is definitely having trouble. I think the cast has amazing potential, and so do the writers, but it's just not all lining up. Darrell Hammond especially -- he's absolutely fantastic, but he just doesn't get enough air time.
