Same to you Norm! Cheers and Happy new Years!

Don't you mean Merry Christmas?

xD

My class had an interesting discussion the other day.

I came up with a quite interesting point that noone had thought in my class before.

If we decide that we need to 'save Christmas', two things are being assumed:

one - Christmas needs to be saved. two - Christmas deserves to be saved.

Also, what do you think would happen if Christians decided that Christmas has been co-opted by consumerism, and moved the date earlier in the year?

Happy Holidays to you, too, Norm and all the rest of the cyber-fam at onegoodmove!

Mele Kalikimaka and Hau'oli Makahiki Hou

Aloha e'

It is already 25th December here in Oz and 5:45 AM - the gang will soon be here and up and the Conspicuous Consumer Celebration will begin. Happy C3!

It will be 90F here today - so no white Holiday for us. :P

;)

Merry Kwasa, Santa on a Cross, Voodo day Norm!

Thank you for all that you do.

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." ~Dr. Seuss

"Isn't it funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for - I don't know what exactly, but it's something that you don't mind so much not having at other times." ~Kate L. Bosher

Norm, thanks and Meri Kirihimete from publicaddress.net in New Zealand. We really appreciate the work you put in here, especially on the video clips. Keep doing what you do.

Many thanks, RB

Thanks Norm for sharing so much.

May you be touched by his noodly appendage...

Ditto Jaymz's comment!

Thanks Norm. Thanks for helping me see further than just what I see on TV news. Thanks for making me a better person by reasoning and better comprehension which, I think, I owe to you and others here on 1GM. It's a good way to start on one of my new-year's resolutions: Just become a better person.

Have a relaxing and peaceful holiday...everyone.

Merry Christmas

Happy trails in 06

Happy Holidays all : )

Thank you very much, Norm and everyone else who helps make this a great place : )

Thank you! I have no cable, and the tv we have is in our fireplace. The one reason I wish I had cable? The Daily Show. I no longer need to worry. Good move.

Best of the season to all. Norm, thanks so much for the effort you put into this. You've become a regular part of my day.

Here's hoping 2006 will be the year Bushbaby's shit hits the big fan.

Same to you Norm, and all.

Happy belated Solstice/Yule, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Krazy Kwanzaa, Happy New Years, and any that I may have missed.

Mostly, enjoy the time off work and school and time with loved ones. Cause that's the reason for the season.

All the best to you and yours here at the darkest part of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. In the area of consciousness raising around the religious holiday phenom... I'm doing my best to take the christ out of christmas. It's the sweetest secular holiday of the year and may yours be merry merry!

Holy molly RB from National radio's media watch? Wow I listen to that all the time!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & good luck....

It's 7:40am here in the UK, and now its time to wake the family up. :) Thanks for a great year of vids Norm! Keep it up for 2006!

It's 12:17 or so here in California. Merry Christmas all.

My Mother-in-Law read this passage as grace tonight. We were quite moved because it brought that feeling we all remember about this time of year.

" Scrooge was better than his word. He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at whichsome people did not have their fill of laughter in the outset; and knowing that such as these things would be blind anyway, he thought it quite as well that they should wrinkle up their eyes in grins, as have the malady in less attractive forms. His own heart laughed; and that was quite enough for him, ...and it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, Tiny Tim obsereved, God Bless us Everyone!"

Thanks Norm and Everyone on OMG. Happy Hollidays indeed!

Thanks Norm! All the best to you and your family!
