Am I the only one that thinks Boxcar just isn't funny. I mean the points the guy makes are very consistent with my views but his comedy isn't that good and he barely gets a chuckle from his audiences. I think he'd do better as just a public speaker and drop the comedy schtick. And he didn't just stink up this joint, watch the boston clip. He's very topical but he's not that funny.

Anyone have his agent's number?

my first thought about a minute into watching this guy for the first time was "is he paying to get links on this site?"

it just doesn't seem like something that would get on to this site for the humor or content alone.

Is he paying, no, and I take offense to the notion that I would post it and not also identify it as a paid placement.

this wasnt his best, but it made me chuckle a couple times. i think overall hes funnier than most people you see on comedy central. i guess it depends on your expectations, but hes not gonna be a bill hicks (for instance)

You aren't alone. Boxcar doesn't do much for me either. Topical? Yes. Insightful? Non. Witty? Non. Funny? Non. Non.

To be fair comedy is such a pesonal, subjective affair. Like pop music. For instance the charms of Pink Floyd have eluded me for thirty+ years now but some folks can't get enough.

Guess that I am the only one who enjoys Boxcar's comedy.. He has a cool laid-back style and besides, he's a cutie too! :) You all can have Lewis Black. I'll take Boxcar anyday.

hmm, maybe I should rethink my test taking process. They always say your first instinct is usually right.
