This was the best performance of the night. His hand in Seinfeld is clear. Every character in the show is represented here.
Comedy gold Jerry! Comedy gold.
I watched the show. Much of it was funny but I don't think it did much help with providing awareness about the problems of global warming. For an extremely good blog with a main focus on global warming and other issues dealing with Earth's future, check out:

It’s updated daily and the writer seems to really know his stuff.
I agree that the program didn't provide much info on specifics of global warming, but I think it's okay. I think the main purpose was to have the wide variety of stars... from actors, to comedians, to country musicians- it was saying, "Hey America, we are all concerned about global warming, and you should to." The one thing though I don't like is that many people will go to google and search "global warming" and likely hit one of the anti-global warming sites funded by the oil companies. It's that way with drilling in ANWR anyways with the 'arctic power' sites.
Thanks for the link J, I'll check it out.
"one of the anti-global warming sites funded by the oil companies"
Classic ad-hominem attack. If scientific research disagrees with your propaganda, attack something unrelated to the science (e.g., "oil company funding"). For your information, current hybrid technology was developed by auto- and oil-company funding. Shoots holes in your position, doesn't it?
Nevermind that many of the people who are yelling about 'global warming' like Chicken Little are either paid to be alarmists, or in some way make money out of raising alarm and seeking donations (Greenpeace, et al).
It is rather obvious, and obviously pathetic, that since there is no global scientific consensus on the effect of mankind on global warming, that the hippie anti-capitalist movement has decided to go the blatant propaganda route. History repeats itself: no environmental action has ever benefited its cause. The 'save the trees' campaign was BS, the 'save the whales' campaign was BS, the 'endangered species' campaign was BS. Just another BS campaign for comfortable, middle-class hippies to feel good about themselves. Peace, man!
Joe,
You're right the fact that oil company funded research is not a reason to dismiss their conclusions out of hand. It is however a reason to be suspcious, particularly since 99% of all scientists in the field disagree with their conclusions.
I wasn't making a case for global warming, I just naturally assumed everyone who visits this site knows why oil companies spend millions of dollars trying to debunk sound science. If the topic was... "Cigarette smoking: it causes cancer America!" I would probably say something like, "Hopefully nobody ends up at one of those Altria websites!" You do believe smoking cigarettes causes cancer, right Joe?
I can't beleive you guys even entertained this moron. Don't waste your time.
George Costanza. Man, I never realized how much George was based on LD until right now.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the must see shows. Larry David's seemingly odd hang-ups are fun to watch, and if you're like me you'll often find that you sometimes have the same POV. Great show, great man.
