Tom Delay and Dan Bartlett are defending uncle Karl. Delay provided an articulate defense of the raging Rover, Dub couldn't have said it any better. Dan Bartlett on the other hand spun a story only his mother would believe. Is Olbermann right was it just Delay's failure to practice reading through the remarks before quoting them, or is this guy on something.

Great job, Tom! Since they're not gonna appologize anyway I guess it is helpful that he just ridiculed Karl's slanders. We're really gonna need "the Hammer" up to 2006...

Not saying this should go un-talked about. But jesus tap-dancing christ. I'm not trying to loose all my rights as a citizen while the media is only pushing the stories of dumb kids getting kidnapped and dumb drunk republicans.

Bush appointee Karl Rove says, "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war. Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."
Sounds reasonable. Conservatives see a problem and gotta kill someone. Liberals see a problem and have to understand it. I'm surprised a Bush appointee would get that.
Then I get an email from "The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee." Signed by Anne Lewis, she says Rove's statement "is a shameless lie." Then she goes on to say, "We all saw the swell of unprecedented national unity in the wake of that terrible day. In fact, every single Senate Democrat voted to authorize the use of force against Osama bin Laden and his allies in Afghanistan."
Jeezus Fuckin' Christ! This is a liberal? What happened to the discussion? If we don't understand why people hate us... or even which people... how are we gonna decide who to kill? Is the debate now down to which side is more eager for war?
