Terri Schiavo Dead now maybe the media will pull the plug on circus it has become and let the family, all of the family have some peace.
Delay Threats"The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior, but not today." Representative, Dennis Hastert on the other hands says that Terri is in a better place. Huh? I thought the better place, according to these ghouls, was in bed with a feeding tube.

Comments from President Bush today on Terri Schiavo's death - "The essence of civilization is that the strong have a duty to protect the weak," Bush said. "In cases where there are serious doubts and questions, the presumption should be in favor of life."
Amazing how President Bush has responded so quickly on this "tragedy" Whay wasn't he as vocal and active on the Red Lake shootings? Wasn't that a tragedy?

During the 13 days Terri "starved" thousands of poor all over the world were starving and dying, and those still had cognitive ability, and a reason to live, but as George Bush has made clear the presumption should be in favor of life. Christian lives that is, and then only if they also have some political value.

On average 23,000 people die each day of hunger in the world, a disaster that would require merely a portion of what has been spent already in Iraq, to address. To say nothing of the situation in Iraq, per se. The report released yesterday, clearly demonstrate what a disaster the US occupation of the country is. Remember when one of the accussations thrown at Saddam was how he was starving his people? so if he was a monster, was does that make those responsible for doubling those figures?
Where's the outrage from the "Culture of Life" hypocrites?
Maybe now that Schiavo is dead, we can begin discussing real news, like the report released today blasting the White House's use and manipulation of crappy intelligence prior to the Iraq invasion.

But I shouldn't be such a grammar nazi. It's not as bad as our local TV station giving weather reports for Unita County. (It's Uinta.)

Nah cowboy, you're a typo nazi.

Ricky:
Bush didn't want to give the NRA a hard time. (Remember them?) That's why he didn't comment on the Red Lake shooting.
That, and it would've interferred with that wonderful camera view we had of Terri.

Am I correct in assuming you live in the "Urinal" basin. To cowboy if I'm wrong and others who are not Utah natives there is an inside joke here.

If I mentioned the phrases: Oh my heck! Or: Did you want fry sauce with those fries? Or: Did you bring the funeral potatoes? You would be adroitly correct in your assumption. Though, technically I’m north of Happy Valley now and making my living in the big city.
You can’t make much of a retirement with herd’n doggies or wrastl’n steers.
Just know I have someone who slaps the back of my head each time I publish a misspelling. So, you’re right. I’m more a typo-nazi rather than a grammar nazi. It takes a few more years to become an exalted grammartician.

Cowboy, I see, you now live somewhere in the Department of Transportation artillery range.

Close. The more potential wayward UDOT howitzers to me are at Little Cottonwood canyon and not at Timp Haven (a.k.a. pre-Redford's Sundance).
Not that I'm losing any sleep over this, though. I'm sure they are making damn sure of the number of gunpowder packets from now on.
