They Are Always Blind
One of the biggest changes in politics in my lifetime is that the delusional is no longer marginal. It has come in from the fringe, to sit in the seat of power in the Oval Office and in Congress. For the first time in our history, ideology and theology hold a monopoly of power in Washington. Theology asserts propositions that cannot be proven true; ideologues hold stoutly to a world view despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality. When ideology and theology couple, their offspring are not always bad but they are always blind. And there is the danger: voters and politicians alike, oblivious to the facts.— Bill Moyers

Mr. Moyers' comments on delusion in the Oval Office are quaint in view of the fact that, as LBJ's press secretary, he actively particpated in perpetuating the myth of Oswald-as-lone-assassin, thus deluding an entire nation. Mr. Moyers enjoys no credibilty whatsoever as long as he continues to deny his role in the crime of the twentieth century.

I'll have to say anon that is not a very good way to argue. It has certainly not been proven that Oswald did not work alone. At best one could say that the evidence is not clear on the subject. But more interesting is the way you use that to attack Mr. Moyers statements. Whether he mislead the country or not has nothing to do with his assertion that some of those in power are delusional. They either are or are not independant of Mr. Moyers statement. By way of example If a smoker argues that smoking is dangerous you wouldn't discount his argument because he smokes, and likewise one wouldn't discount Moyers argument even if you had proved he had been delusional in the past.

Rid of formalized wisdom and learning People would be a hundredfold happier
Rid of conventionalized duty and honor People would find their families dear
Rid of legalized profiteering People would have no thieves to fear These methods of life have failed, all three
Here is the way, it seems to me:
SET THE PEOPLE FREE
I just stepped on a possum!!
