No Laughing Matter
Michael Moore is right. The republicans have lost their sense of humor. James Broadwater is a candidate for Congress in Mississipi's 2nd Congressional District. He claims he got duped and he did, but were his views accurately presented, undoubtedly. James is rightly worried, the truth is a powerful weapon. This republican only wants the truth revealed if it's his "truth".He wants the anti-god media brought under strict FCC control. James is clinging tightly to his soul but his sense of humor has gone missing.

He reminds us that he has a logo on his website that says he is a proud friend of Israel. He also thinks they are going to spend an eternity in Hell. With friends like that, both the Jews and members of the Second District are in trouble. I love ya brother but burn baby burn.
So Ali G posing as Borat goes out campigning with Broadwater and the following exchange takes place.
Borat: He is a strong man. He will crush his opponents and he will be powerful like Stalin and not tolerate people who are bad.
Broadwater: Well, actually, I wouldn't compare myself to Stalin ...
Borat: Will you vote for my friend?
Woman: Well, I probably will, but I don't ever tell people who I vote for before I vote.
Borat: If you do not vote for him, he will take power!
Woman: Well, it depends on whether he gets enough votes or not.
Borat: I will not leave until you swear on the eyes of your child that you will vote for him

Broadwater: They tend to go to the Democratic Party.
Borat: I want to go to this place heaven. Which religion must I choose to go there?
Broadwater: The Christian Bible says that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

Broadwater: Well, I would have to say that they would go to hell.

The phrase hoisted on his own petard comes to mind.
(for those who don't get that - a petard is an explosive device and the etymology of the word petard has to do with breaking wind - so he was lifted aloft by the force of his own wind :-) )

From an Englishmans point of view it is an extremely funny clip to watch. It shows that the steriotype American is very realisic to the ones from the clip.

mmm, no. It shows that most sheeple are so wrapped up in the false left-right paradigm to find this sillyness clever somehow.
It's ironic--Cohen might think that Blackwood is going to hell (or Gehenna, at least) since he doesn't adhere to halacha.
