Michael Moore terrorizes the Bushies!
The right wing is going all out to stop "Fahrenheit 9/11" -- but it's not working
Damn but that's a great picture!
I think this is premium Salon. You can get a day pass to view it. This is a great read, dont' miss it. The right-wing is causing themselves more harm than good. If the article is correct the movie will be opening in 888 theaters. The initial figures I saw were 550-1000 then I saw some as low as 450. Even that would have been remarkable Columbine at its height was only showing on 200+ screens, but now in spite of or thanks to their efforts interest is growing .

Trying to stop Farenheit 9/11 is proving about as effective as trying to stop Sadr by shutting down a few newspapers in southern Iraq. I guess Bush tries to treat all 'enemies of the state' in the same way.
I do know one thing--it's not just left wing nuts who are rushing out to see this flick. The apolitical woman who cuts my hair is going to check it out this weekend.

That's encouraging. I know as part of the choir I'll be there singing along, but having an audience that hasn't been exposed to that sweet refrain will be a definite plus.

I plan on seeing the movie on its premier day in Seattle, as do all of my liberal jackass friends.

I'm not in such a rush. I know I'll enjoy it when I see it, but do you really think there is anything new there for anyone who actually uses the net for information searches? I DO know the hype has not encouraged me to see it more, perhaps the opposite.

I agree, I don't think I'll learn anything new. I'll be there on opening night singing hooray for our side.

For me, seeing F-9/11 it is simply showing solidarity for a kindred mind.
I hope it does well at the box office.

Press Release For Immediate Release From: Dr. B.L.T. Music Date: June 26, 2004
FahrenHYPE 9/11: The song that rocks as it mildly mocks Moore's movie madness. This, my latest new song, produced by Jerry Rothberg, is being played on conservative talk radio. It delivers tongue-in-cheek warning about Fahrenheit 9/11 director Michael Moore's apparent mental instability. If you're mad at Michael Moore, here is the cure. Take it from me, Dr. B.L.T., The Rock Doc.
