Rainy Days and Losses

It was deja vu all over again as the Yankees won by the identical 6-1 score as in game two. They now lead two games to one in the best of seven series. It is no secret that I'm rooting for the Marlins, and although this was a better game than the previous outing my spirit along with Josh Becketts was broken when a pitch clearly knee high and over the plate was called a ball. The result a tie score, and the beginning of the end for the Marlins on this rainy night. There was some momentary excitement in Boston when a rumor got started that maybe it wasn't over, that Boston was still in the fight. The confusion stemmed from a sign carried by a Marlins Fan that said, "Lets Go Marlins win this one for Boston. A Cub's fan laughed at the Boston faithful, looks like that stupid sign really got their goats, he said. He then sat down and started crying for no apparent reason. Game four is tonight and it really isn't over until its over, but I'm putting in my request now for a more competitive game, or if not that a romp by the Marlins.
