Tabbed browsing is great. I use it in both Opera 7 and Mozilla 1.3b
Tabbed browsing is a great addition but I fail to see why Safari is so hyped about. Phoenix, Opera, and Mozilla all offer the same features. Maybe its just I'm not a mac user so I don't buy into the hype...;)
I'm currently using Chimera a superb Mozilla based browser. Why am I excited about Safari then, because its faster and since my internet connection options at home are a dialup or a dialup I appreciate the added speed. Why haven't I switched yet, tabbed browsing.
While I like the idea of Safari, I find Chimera 0.6 faster and more stable. I also like the tabbed browsing and Contextual Menu support found in Chimera. Safari has gorgeous text but still has a way to go before it becomes my day-to-day browser choice.
