The circumstantial evidence however is quite convincing. The guy is a racist, just not publicly, expect when he is. That is the problem with putting up a false front. It's tough to maintain it. I think he should stay, a constant reminder of the hypocrisy that is more and more a part of the Republican Party. You've got to love those Republicans. They complain if you point to something Lott said 40 years ago and then trot out the fact that they're the party of Lincoln 150 years in the past. Duh! We cut off oil shipments to North Korea because they announce they have a nuclear development program. They state they will restart a reactor to provide for their people, and we feign surprise. Duh! Iran announces they are building additional reactors to provide power for their populace. The Right screams, bullshit, with all their oil they're planning on building nukes. Perhaps, but it is also true that they import oil, and it may make long term economic sense to provide alternatives. Duh! Dubya annouces that he will take the smallpox vaccination.

As commander in chief, I do not believe I can ask others to accept this risk unless I am willing to do the same. Therefore, I will receive the vaccine along with our military.
